ABOUT TANYA TAYLOR

Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. Through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints, each Tanya Taylor collection is designed to bring confidence and high-energy happiness into daily life.

A wonderful opportunity to work for a contemporary brand to expand your design knowledge and technical skills. The individual will be working closely under the technical design manager and her team, as well as alongside with our cross-functional team members. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist in preparation of live model fittings 
•    Organizing and steaming samples
•    Take TOP photos, edit and add into tech packs
•    Picking up patterns from midtown and cutting pattern pieces
•    Supporting the tech team in all other areas that needs assistance

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Strong communication and organizational skills
•    Attention to detail and ability to multitask
•    Capable of following direction
•    Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
•    Must receive school credit for the internship

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•    Major in Technical Design or Fashion Design
•    Basic comprehension of patternmaking
•    Proficiency in Microsoft suite, Google suite, Adobe illustrator
•    Available for a minimum of 2-3 days a week
