INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
ABOUT TANYA TAYLOR
Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. Through the artful use of color and original hand-painted prints, each Tanya Taylor collection is designed to bring confidence and high-energy happiness into daily life.

We are looking for an PR and Influencer Marketing Intern who is passionate, hardworking, detail oriented and a creative thinker to join our Marketing/ PR Team/E-COM. This internship is unpaid so candidates must be able to receive academic credit.
GOALS
· Learn how an in-house PR team handles all aspects of the job, including media relations, product launches and press releases, influencer gifting, community management, and VIP dressing
· Learn how a small core team collaborates within a growing company
· Understand how the role of influencer marketing and PR is changing within contemporary fashion
· Better understanding of how e-commerce works at a small but fast-growing contemporary fashion company
· Learn qualitative and quantitative tools and metrics of a role in e-commerce
· Familiarize yourself with common industry platforms and software, such as RLM, Zonos, Joor, Kustomer, and Shopify
RESPONSIBILITIES
PUBLIC RELATIONS, INFLUENCER MARKETING
· Research new faces and voices to expand the community network
· Ideate and help execute influencer gifting initiatives timed to product launches and current events
· Work with the social media and Ecomm team to identify content creators for seasonal product gifting and help facilitate project
· Continuously track and monitor industry changes to keep media and influencer database relevant
· Assist with PR placements and press/ credit tracking
· Coordinate messengers and shipping logistics for samples
ECOMMERCE OPS
· Assist in the creation of products and image uploads
· Assist in the merchandising of site
· Support roll out of new site features
· Assist in inventory management in inventory management software
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
· Pull weekly reporting on E-commerce returned orders & share insights as needed
· Provide weekly product selling documents
· Provide weekly email and social reports
· Reviewing product assortments
LEARNING
· Excel- VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, shortcuts
· Shopify- all aspects of Shopify that an E-commerce manager uses
· Klaviyo (email platform)- how to segment lists, how to create emails
· Paid media platforms
· 3d party platforms- RLM, Kustomer, Zonos, Joor
TASK SCHEDULE
DAILY
· Site monitoring and merchandising
· Organization of seasonal assets
· Pull style selling information
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
· Available 2-3 full days a week or 4-5 half days a week
· Must be able to receive academic credit
· Strong interest in the fashion industry
· Passionate about social media, specifically Instagram, influencers, and content creators
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and is professional and reliable
· Have access to a computer / laptop with reliable access to the internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Have access to a cellphone with social media applications downloaded
· Bonus: Have interned in PR, influencer marketing, social media or at a contemporary brand.
